John is a chemical engineer with over 35 years experience in the
industry. He has an excellent reputation for having worked at the
very top of the chemical industry across global markets at Chief
John was appointed Chairman of the West Northamptonshire
Development Corporation (WNDC) in 2008. This is one of only three
development corporations in the UK and is expected to deliver
50,000 jobs and 60,000 homes in the UK's number one growth area.

Lord Cunningham has a range of international experience in
politics and business. He has held a number of ministerial posts,
including Minister at the Department of Energy from 1976 to 1979,
followed by Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in 1997,
where he was responsible for the creation of the Food Standards
In 1998 he was appointed Minister for the Cabinet Office and
Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, where he worked closely with
the Prime Minister's Office as Principal Media Spokesman for the
Government. He chaired several Cabinet committees and wrote
the White Paper on Modernising Government. Since 2003, Lord
Cunningham has twice been Chair of the Joint Parliamentary
Committee on House of Lords Reform.
In addition, he has previously advised leading chemical firms
including Albright & Wilson Ltd, Dow Chemical Co Ltd, Hays
Chemical Ltd and Hickson Chemicals and, as well as being an active
member in the House of Lords, Lord Cunningham chairs the North-
East Sustainable Resources Board, which seeks to improve recycling
and reuse capability in the region.
Before entering Parliament, Lord Cunningham gained a PhD in
Fluorine Chemistry and worked as a Research Fellow at the
University of Durham.
Eann is responsible for originating and structuring Aeternum's
biomass resources units and negotiating off-take agreements with UK
and European Utility companies. Eann works alongside David
Frohnsdorff in securing Joint Venture Agreements with power and
utility companies for existing UK infrastructure projects, with a
particular focus on Aeternum's biofuels and downstream oil &
gas development portfolio.
For the past 15 years Eann has owned his own real estate
investment and trading businesses, focusing on the creation of high
value through the planning gain process. Eann has a 10 year founder
track record which shows 13x multiple on 18 realised
Eann has implemented strategies which have a gross development
value of £2bn on which he has created a NAV of £115m. Over the last
15 years, Eann has implemented value added consents within many
sectors of the property sphere, including Infrastructure and
Renewable Energy, Retail, Residential, Office, Industrial Mixed Use
Urban Regeneration, Key-Worker and Affordable Housing, Health and,
Eann has a diverse range of knowledge and hands on experience
through a series of complex transactions. The implementation of
re-zoning and re-consenting contaminated land holdings has given
him an extensive insight into a variety of exit partners and their
requirements for consented schemes.
David coordinates all aspects of Aeternum's transaction
origination, structuring and asset management, focusing on the
planning and delivery of the Aeternum's UK infrastructure assets
and biomass investments.
David has spent over 11 years in Private Equity, Commercial
Property, Development and Infrastructure specialising in finance
and structuring. David is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and holds
a Masters Degree in Land Economy from the University of

Consensus Business Group. Whilst at Consensus, Daniel developed and
executed the Turn Key House Builder Model (Asset Management
Platform), incorporating the acquisition of Freehold Reversion
Interests from Volume House builders, Management and Insurance
Revenues as well as the consolidation of other cross fertilized and
ancillary business, such as property management, insurance,
utilities and other financial products. Having raised over £150m
through the innovative AAA rating Securitizations of Residential
Ground Rents, the value of his originated Ground Rents stood at

a wide range of knowledge and expertise, particularly within the
Property and Construction sectors. He has handled a large variety
of fund raising challenges over his career in both the public
company arena and the SME sector.
Qualifying as a Charted Accountant with PwC, Duncan then spent
10 years with Town Centre Securities PLC, a quoted property
investment group. In addition to his primary role as Finance
Director, Duncan built up the car parking division within TCS
through corporate and site acquisitions. In 2001, the division was
sold to Q Park NV, a European specialist car parking group with a
turnover of €127m, and worked as their European Group FD for 2
years where he managed acquisitions throughout Europe.
Since 2003, Duncan has been extensively involved in building up
a group of companies within the Construction sector as part of a
Management Buy in team. In addition to this, he also took on
a turnaround project as Financial Director of an AIM listed

Governor of Leeds City College.
Having practiced in the legal profession for over
35 years, Keith has gained a wide range of skills and
experience. Upon graduating from Kings College London in 1969
with a law degree and a diploma in Theology, Keith went on to
qualify as a Solicitor in 1973. He founded his own practice in the
city of Chester and acted for numerous major national building
companies in connection with property acquisitions.
Keith has vast experience in handling complex property
transactions, not only as a lawyer but also as a director of a
property company. In 2005, Keith became a director of a large scale
development company, whilst retaining his role as a solicitor
in Manchester. He subsequently took on a full
time position as Company Secretary, shortly after the
development company's holding company floated on the AIM
Prior to joining Aeternum, Keith had acted for Eann Rowan
Smith (later to become a Partner at Aeternum Capital LLP),
representing Eann and his company with regards to their property

partnership and has worked closely with local businesses in

Chester Club which he chaired for 2 years.
Keith continues to practice as a consultant solicitor in
Manchester, whilst also holding the role of Legal Counsel at

Mike has a wide range of experience, having qualified in
Chemistry, Ceramics and Refractory Engineering. In addition to
this, he holds 10 years of experience in all aspects of the Steel,
Glass, Cement, Petro Chemicals, Aluminum Production and Chemical
industries, at both technical and management level.
In addition, Mike also holds 30 years of experience in the
property sector, being involved in billion pound investment and
development deals. Prior to joining Aeternum, Mike was a major
Developer and Principle Contractor, responsible for the purchase
and design of both sub and super structure.
Mike is familiar with all types of foundation design and build
including steel frame, concrete frame and traditional build; he has
an unrivalled talent for taking projects from inception to
developed and sold or investment stages.
Having been involved in all aspects of property deals and
trading, including sale and lease backs and creating investments,
Mike holds a wide ranging skills set. A notable project was one
which involved the sale of English Period Houses to Japan; the

addition, he has been involved in all aspects of builds, concrete,
steel frame and traditional builds and holds extensive experience
in infrastructure and decommissioning/remediation.
Particularly adept at sourcing off market opportunities through
a vast and varied array of contacts, Mick has a strong portfolio of
skills. He has been involved in structuring very complex deals with
a vision and insight into what is necessary to structure and
complete each deal, with an ability to enroll at labour or
executive level. In addition, Mick a range of international
experience having travelled to over 52 countries around the

played professional football for 12 years, having been on teams

Richard is a highly experienced general manager with strong
commercial, technical, operational and business development skills,
all gained through working in a range of senior roles in the
After six years at Esso Petroleum in a number of operational
roles, Richard joined Lubrizol, a global specialty chemicals
manufacturer. In a range of commercial roles, he achieved major
successes that often involved market assessment and product
development through to product launch and marketing support.
In 2000, Richard was promoted to General Manager of Lubrizol's
UK manufacturing facility at Bromborough, after which he was
appointed to manage Lubrizol's joint venture operation in Saudi
Arabia. In both operational roles, one of Richard's key objectives
was to increase plant throughput. Through working closely with
internal technical, operational and business development groups, as
well as UK and international customer accounts, he was successful
in achieving this goal.
Richard's final role with Lubrizol involved P &
L accountability for a range of product groups, including
marine lubricant additives. Most recently, he was the
Commercial and Operations Director at Vickers Oils.
Keith is a professional forester with a wealth of skills and
experience which have developed over 27 years in the industry. His
expertise lies in the evaluation, creation, acquisition and
implementation of large-scale, forest plantation ventures, managed
for the cost-effective and sustainable production of tailored
feedstocks for the fibre, solid wood and bio-energy industries.
Formerly the Financial and Operational Manager at Shell, he was
responsible for the evaluation & oversight of Greenfield and
acquisition forest plantation investments. Whilst at Shell, Keith's
average deal size was in excess of US$75 million; upstream
portfolio value in excess of US$600 million; downstream US$350
million. Keith has handled all aspects of project staffing and
negotiation of JV and financing agreements and internal &
external service contracts.
Also during his time at Shell, Keith provided technical advice
and co-ordination for the establishment and maintenance of 300,000
net planted ha of eucalyptus plantations worldwide. Keith was
responsible for the technical, organisational, management &
operational troubleshooting, issues identification and management
along with the development of environmental policy and guidelines
& standards compatible with and leading to, FSC
Countries of main activity include Republic of Congo, Australia,
Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, S. Africa, and New
Zealand. Within Europe and the UK. Keith has worked with a number
of Energy and Utility companies sourcing FSC accredited wood chips

Martin Greenwood is an experienced Forestry Professional, with a
range of industry experience in West, Central and Southern African
countries, as well as Northern and East Russia. Having had
multi-purpose roles in areas of deep forestry and political &
civil instability, Martin has a varied skill set, including strong
management skills and an advanced set of on-ground expertise and
operational planning knowledge.
Since December 2009, Martin has been Operational Director of
Aeternum Forestry. In this role, he develops global biomass
opportunities, focusing primarily on West Africa. Planning and
sourcing for the procurement of equipment, Martin is also
responsible for compiling due diligence information for the

Mike Fenton has over 30 years of experience working on major

Great Lakes and Clariant.
He built and successfully managed a multi mullion pound
Engineering Group, which included an engineering consultancy,
scientific equipment manufacture and design and production of a
range of specialist aviation equipment. The company's success was
attributable to the identification and placement of specialist
in-house engineers to complete projects for multiple high profile
clients as well as carrying out in-house projects for an array of
blue chip customers.
Mike Fenton's areas of expertise include consulting, management,

Peter Abel has worked in a number of operational and health
& safety positions. In his role of Operations Director at
Hickson & Welch, he was responsible for Production, Engineering
and the Health and Safety Executive. This position led him to take
on the role of Director of Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs
where he was reported to the Group CEO regarding HSE Standards
across all sites in UK, USA, Italy, France and Holland.
Prior to this, Peter gained experience working at Lambson Ltd.
Along with the company's CEO, Peter produced a report about
Rapeseed and Biodiesel plants, after which he took on the role of
Operations Director where he was responsible for the production,
engineering and HSE on a site which reprocessed waste sulphuric
acid and produced Photo Initiators and Oil additives, along with
other batch operations.
Having held a number of roles Production, Management and
Technical, Paul Sleightholme has worked for a range of leading
companies including C6 Solutions (formerly Hickson & Welch
ltd), Encia Group and SiteOps Ltd.
In his role as Site Director at Encia Group, Paul managed the
safe decommissioning of Oxiris at Top Tier COMAH level to sub COMAH
and re-wrote the COMAH report for management at Oxiris.
Prior to this he was Site Production Manager at a top tier 77
acre COMAH site, which had a turnover of circa £60 Million where he
was a member of the Site Leadership team (site strategy and
implementation), as well as the Contract Business Team, Senior
Operations Team and Manufacturing excellence team where he
